October 28, 2020, 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time
If we are to truly prioritize student literacy and equity, principals and teachers must rethink pedagogy, in ways that capitalize upon and extend students' socio-cultural and historical traditions. This session brings experts together in conversation about how principals' daily practice can support literacy communities within schools; introduces frameworks for organizing a new pedagogy; and discusses how principal preparation and other pipeline initiatives support improved leadership.
