Paraeducators could used more training opportunities with an allowance from the district or state due to the low pay. Many paraeducators are coming into the profession with little or no experience working in the classroom and could use that support.
State and districts could support paraeducators by offering them competitive wages and benefits as many, if not all, end up bring home less than minimum wage.
