Fontbonne's Paraprofessional Pathways to Teaching offers individuals employed as a paraprofessional or teacher assistant in a special education school setting a pathway to become a special education teacher, simultaneously earning a master’s degree and K–12 mild/moderate cross-categorical certification.

Relay Graduate School of Education Teaching Residency

The Relay Teaching Residency program is a two-year experience that provides aspiring teachers with a supportive, gradual introduction to teaching. Residents serve as a full-time teacher-in-residence supporting a lead classroom teacher in their first year while earning teaching certification and a master's degree. After completion of the first year residents receive support finding a position as a fully-licensed lead teacher.
