Supplement — Student Learning Objectives: Considerations for Teachers of Career and Technical Education Courses
Designed as a supportive addition to our full-length module, Introduction to Student Learning Objectives, this supplement provides additional content and examples specific to teachers of career and technical education (CTE) courses. The supplemental material can be used by state leaders and regional center staff to support district-level staff who are new to student learning objectives (SLOs) and in the early stages of considering the implementation of SLOs for teachers of CTE courses. In the supplement, you will learn about the following:
- SLO cycles
- Considerations for crafting high-quality SLOs for teachers of CTE courses
- Technical and implementation challenges for teachers of CTE courses
The supplement provides three hours of material, including hands-on activities, which can be adapted and customized to your state’s context and needs. Download PDF copies of each file below or request copies of the materials in Word format by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
